The Weekend!!!! Too Many Things to Do!!!

There are SOOO many things to do this weekend. Here are my top pics.

BBQ and Fly on the River in Downtown Excelsior Springs runs from today and tomorrow. A Free to attend event.

Ethnic Enrichment Festival at Swope Park in Kansas City runs all weekend. General admission is $5 a person. This event is one of our favorites. They feature foods from around the world in tents and food trucks. There are also lots of activities for the kids.

The Missouri State Fair is having its last hoorah this weekend.

Parkville Days in downtown Parkville, Missouri runs from today through Sunday. This is a free to attend event unless you want to ride rides. There will be lots of vendor and food tents and live music. This is always a fun to attend event.

Mini Mud Run in Raymore, Missouri is today. Tickets are $15. I have never attended this event, but it looks like fun for the whole family.

Shakespeare Under the Stars is in Independence, Missouri tonight. This looks to be a fun event for all ages. Admission is by donation.

Lost Trail Days at Louisburg Cider Mill in Louisburg, Kansas. This is a Saturday event. This is hands down one of the best fall outings you can have. Be on the lookout for more events here. There are many and they are all worthwhile the drive from Kansas City.

National World War I Museum will host this event this coming Saturday the 20th. The grounds will open at 5 pm and there will be food trucks and music available. The best part is that this is a free event!!
