I have to admit this week was a little harder than usual to put a list together for the week. The sales in all the stores were not that great. However, I have managed to come up with 7 meals with enough for leftovers for a family of 4 to 6. Breakfast is included as well.
Shrimp 28/30 count 5.99, Vigo yellow rice 1.00 and chopped salad kit on sale for 2.50.
Deli turkey breast sandwiches. Turkey breast from the deli 1 lb. for 7.99, sandwich bread 1.19, Best Choice cheese (your choice) 2.69, chips (best choice was the cheapest 1.69), chip dip 1.69, and a can of fruit (your choice) 1.69.
Quiche (your recipe choice) you could add more ingredients or less to your liking. Dozen eggs 2.79, 8 oz. of Smithfield ham 2.99 and Best Choice 8 oz of cheese 2.69.
Zatarain's smoked sausage link 3.99, peppers 3 for 5, Vigo yellow rice package 1.00, onion, 1.19.
Kraft tuna cakes. Easiest and tastiest recipe ever. 2 cans best choice tuna .89 each, box of stuffing 1.69, carrots .99 for a lbs. leftover cheese from the above items, chopped salad kit 2.50 and a can of fruit 1.69.
Charcoal steaks 4.59 lb., a can of pinto beans .99 and a box of Best Choice Macaroni and cheese .79.
This week I am going to make take out an option. One of my favorite cheap picks is Wendy's $5 biggie bag. It would only be a little over $20 for a family of 4 to eat out.
Items to have on hand: miracle whip or mayonnaise, milk and olive oil.
Items to buy for breakfast: Box of frozen waffles 5.49 and pancake syrup 1.99. I would also buy bananas and maybe some of the mangos that were on sale. One more item that was a great loss leader was the Best Choice Butter Quarters for 2.99.
This week your total would come in a little under $100.00 before taxes. I know this is more than I would like to spend, but this week was a little harder.
