Candied Bacon & Pizza, BLT Plus Homemade Croutons

This is beef bacon instead of pork bacon. It is just as tasty but not has heavy as far as the fat content. I put a couple of handfuls of brown sugar on top to cook. I cooked this at 375 for about 20 minutes.

These are leftover pieces I had on hand of homemade bread and a biscuit. I cut them into bite size pieces and toasted them with a little olive oil and salt and pepper in the oven on 425 for about 20 minutes and tossing them around at about the 10 minute mark.


When the croutons are done, I used the same pan to make okra and orzo. I left all the goodies in the pan without cleaning it. the pan cooked for about 30 minutes at 420.

MMMmmmm.............. Candied Bacon BLT with homemade croutons on the salad, and orzo and okra. It was tasty!
